Chewy Sesame & Ginger Slice

A while back I made this Chewy Sesame & Ginger Slice & it was a huge hit with our family. I think you might enjoy it too! It only has 4 ingredients & it will take about 5 minutes to make, so it's a great one to whip up for lunchboxes or an unannounced visitor.

Chewy Sesame & Ginger Slice Recipe


2 Cups of Sesame Seeds

40g Ginger - peeled & roughly chopped

1 cup of pitted dates

2 TBSP Tahini

2 TBSP of Collagen (for gut, skin and hair health). I use Gelpro Collagen.

Pinch of salt. 


Line a square pyrex dish with non-stick baking paper.

Place all ingredients into high speed blender & process until mixture has broken down & it resembles a chewy caramel. 

Place into pyrex dish & compress with a dessert spoon. Top with sesame seeds & set in the fridge for 2-3 hours. 

Slice & enjoy. 

This will keep in the fridge for 2-3 weeks in an airtight container.
